Live-in, part-time house-keeper for family of three in West London (West London)
Live-in part-time house-keeper for family of three (one child three years old) in Shepherds Bush. We are looking for a part-time house-keeper who will live in a separate annex to our house and work for us for 18 hours per week and up to five nights babysitting including Fridays and Saturdays. Working hours would be two hours per day Mon-Fri and up to a full 8-hours day on Saturday. Great accommodation is provided in a quiet separate newly developed unit attached to the main house with Wi-Fi access single bedroom shower room fridge and possibility of adding a separate cooking unit. This opportunity would suit for example someone who is looking for accommodation in central London but would like to keep another day job or someone who studies in the daytime. We will offer 75 pounds (gross of any taxes and national insurance that may be applicable) per week and 20 days holidays. Holidays will need to be agreed with the family. Requirements Candidates must be over 21 non-smokers and speak read and write in English. The ideal candidate will be an experienced cleaner with attention to detail and a very high standard of hygiene and be able to provide meticulous cleaning. They will also have some childcare experience as we will ask you to help with our child on occasion. They will be confident in food preparation and be able to cook simple dishes after a few weeks training. They should be positive friendly energetic organized and proactive. They should love interacting with children and play with them. Duties will include all housekeeping tasks such as cleaning cooking laundry and ironing organising wardrobe and in general do what needs doing in a household without being asked. The candidate may be asked to travel during family holidays so valid passport and travel permits are required. Candidates will need to be legally able to work in the UK and available for interview.
